We have integrated production by applying our proprietary development process from monomers to polymers for manufacturing EPICHLOMER® , a highly heat-resistant, oil-resistant, and low-temperature resistant synthetic rubber.
EPICHLOMER® has been recognized as a specialized rubber material that meets the increasingly high-performance needs of the automotive industry and complies with environmental regulations automobiles. We are making further developments in business areas such as office equipment parts by exploiting EPICHLOMER® 's semi-conductive properties.

In June 2003, DAISO developed and began sales of a new epichlorohydrin rubber product called EPIONTM. We were able to precisely control the semi-conductivity of EPIONTM, making it ideal for use as a substitute for rubber parts in office equipment such as copiers and printers. DAISO is aggressively pursuing new markets for this product domestically and internationally. |
